We begin our adventure in the Grammos Mountain, visiting the most famous village of the "Mastorochoria" - Ganadio. After a few kilometers we cross the villages of the Civil War and start climbing the Grammos Mountain through forests of oak, blacksmith, fir and beech trees.
Passing through Chrissi and Pefkofyto villages, we leave the road climbing in 1740m where we find a hidden alpine landscape - the Arrenes lakes with their unique green waters. After our coffee and the exploration of the location and the characteristics triton that lives in these lakes, we start our descent for the most famous Vlachochori - Aetomilitsa in 1500m altitude. Via ferrata, is a "climbing trail" engraved on a mountain side with steep sloap. The trail is equipped with wire ropes, iron ladders, stairs, etc. as its exposed parts which facilitate and secure access.
